Carrot Halwa

  CARROT HALWA WITH LITTLE GHEE

Ingredients


7 carrots medium size
1 cup sugar
50 grams khoya (sweet)
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 teaspoon ghee
5 cashenuts

Method


1. Wash carrots and grate them.

2. Now in a pressure cooker take ghee and fry cashewnuts.

3. Take them out of ghee and in that cooker itself pour grated carrot.

4. Fry for few seconds and add milk cardamom powder and little water and pressure cook it for 2 viziles.

5. After pressure is gone add khoya and sugar cook till desired consistency.

6. Garnish with fried cashew nuts.
